summary: the “end” to the pale plots… at least for now. fucking hell this is where i stopped logging anything oh god oh fuck

• march 11th | private icc| comms with lilith.
1. jean sees lilith for the first time since their fight. once he confirms lilith is normal and not armed, he tries to make amends, and lets lilith know that it’s okay to be mad at him for the whole pale thing, because jean is mad at lilith for the whole trying to murder him thing. they discuss guilt and caring about others and how much of a pain in the ass it is.
• march 13th | a strange home spine-chilling cluster to un-fuck | drabble.
1. jean finally gets his wish, and wild pale yonder pulls back her influence from lilith, beck, inay, tidus, and agatha… as well as everyone else he’s ever cursed. in return, jean’s mind is wiped clean, and he’s forced to live in a state of jamais vu, 7 years younger. what might look like sacrifice is more an act of trickery, but upon reflection, he’ll realise that he was kind of stupid for thinking wild pale yonder would make anything simple.

1. lilith realises he's no longer in pale symptoms hell and goes to ask jean what's going on, only to find a very confused and oddly polite cigarette bird. lilith tries to help him while wishing he'd just call him a slur or something already because this is freaking him the fuck out.

april

summary: discord is a bitch to search for threads in. kim showed up again! jean spent most of this season being jealous of him because harry was spending a lot of time with him. harry also got back some memories, none of which involved him, which made it sting even more.

1. barry bluejeans becomes a dragon, which is a concept that excites jean so much that he forgets all about the fact barry just tried to steal one of his cows.

1. jean hurts his own feelings and grimmer finds out that transforming into a hateful murderous rage beast when you're mad is normal actually.

1. judgement group chat. jean used the pale to find out information about their whereabouts.

1. jean and harry go on an anniversary date and fuck nasty.

1. one of the keys to judgement's tomb is guarded by the harpies. jean, villanelle, and eve go to retrieve it, and are put through trials to get there. jean is exposed for being kind of a dirtbag cop, but he doesn't seem sorry enough, so they do some transphobia to him.

autumn

september

summary: alright. god damn. this entire season was a doozy. it's motherfucking echo time.

• september 1st | echo plot begins | general event.
1. harry goes missing.
• september 2nd | private icc | with lilith & dante from devil may cry.
1. while out searching for harry after almost 48 hours missing, jean is drawn to the devil may cry headquarters by his skills insisting that harry might be hiding in there. upon breaking in to the garage, all jean finds is the gun that triggered lilith's rampage as furiae, which is impersonating his skills to convince him to pick it up. furiae attempts to possess him, only to be swallowed by wild pale yonder, but not before it turned jean himself into a half-demon. already emotionally unstable, he transformed into his devil trigger form and rampaged, alerting dante, who promptly began playing with his food. lilith arrived on the scene to prevent dante from killing jean, instead pacifying him until he was able to return to his normal self. just another tally mark on the "reasons for jean and lilith to feel immense guilt for the harm they bring upon each other" wall!
• september 10th | i will try not to keep you too long | drabble.
1. with the help of wild pale yonder, jean finds harry... kind of.
• september 10th | where you been hiding lately? | with eve polastri.
1. jean drags eve to echo to help him solve this missing persons case. they end up staying for a few days while jean becomes increasingly obsessed with lake emma.
• september 13th | rank up! | general event.
1. jean reached rank 1 of the autumn path! he got a chain of unbinding.
• september 15th | trancelike with the vultures overhead | with wolfgang grimmer.
1. grimmer is doing the rounds as a journalist regarding the motel murders in echo. he meets jean, now on his 5th day of loitering around the lake in search of harry, and tries to talk some sense into him with slight success.
• september 18th | public icc | with wolfgang grimmer, eve polastri, villanelle & hong lu.
1. jean finds harry's body.
• september 25th | a molehill to die upon | with handsome jack.
1. jean, convinced harry has been murdered, is unhappy at how little the "mayor" of echo, jack, is doing about the town, and so he confronts him in a diner.
• september 29th | ic lord of the rings movie night | with a bunch of people.
1. jean takes some time away from echo to prove that he can. he hates it.

october

summary: echo plot continues! so do my health issues so i don't get half as much done as i wanted to.

• october 11th | to tundra | drabble.
1. jean dreams about harry and experiences what he thinks is sleep paralysis. nope! turns out harry is actually here in his motel room. they argue. and flirt a little.
• october 11th | a lifelong walk to the same exact spot | comms with lilith.
1. jean contacts lilith to ask about necromancy or demon possession or any sort of reason that harry's corpse might be talking to him.
• october 11th | private icc | with lilith.
1. lilith is deeply concerned by jean's messages and comes to echo to try and convince jean to leave with him. he succeeds, but not without a meltdown.
• october 11th - 20th | bluebelle manor | with lilith & lucan.
1. DIDN'T GET TO RP ANY OF THIS DUE TO SCHEDULING ISSUES! jean went to stay with lilith and lucan in their cool goth mansion. learned some demon tricks while he was there. mostly he just moped, then couldn't resist returning to echo to see harry again.

november

summary: the finale to the echo arc, and with it, the finale to the jeanharry arc.

• november 6th | i'll still destroy you someday, sleep well, beast; you as well, beast | drabble.
1. jean decides he's finally had enough of echo and needs to move on for good this time. when he goes to retrieve his belongings from the motel, harry baits him into another argument, then a physical fight. of course they get horny about it. harry asks him to come to the lake one last time. jean agrees, despite and in spite of himself, and meets harry at the lake for one last conversation. harry explains that he felt compelled to come to echo by shivers, and the town itself drove him to his death -- by suicide. he asks jean to put him out of his misery, for both of their sakes, and jean agrees to drown him. with harry well and truly gone, jean heads to the smoke room for a drink in his honour, and to mark the last time he'd ever visit echo by choice.
• november 6th | private icc | with jaskier, bob & suspicious canine.
1. drunk on both alcohol and grief and determined to prove he can be cool about harry's death, jean heads to the back of the smoke room, where all the gay furries are engaging in all kinds of debauchery. he attempts to hit on a canine, but is cockblocked by two humans who are looking for answers regarding the motel murder. as the stranger explains himself, all around them, the other patrons begin to succumb to the hysteria, and the orgy turns to acts of cannibalistic violence. jean and the humans manage to escape.
• november 15th | private icc | with the ashen one.
1. jean returns home and takes a break from cleaning up. cedric negs him a little, but ultimately convinces him to stop wallowing. just a little.
• november 22nd | i shimmy up the cenotaph regale with my melancholy | thread with kim kitsuragi.
1. jean and kim run into each other while waiting for a train. jean is still extremely bitter and sore from... everything and is determined to hate kim for as long as he lives.
• november 25th | rank up! | general event.
1. jean reached rank 2 of the autumn path! he got the weapon summoning spell.
• november 27th | public icc | with a bunch of characters.
1. the echo hysteria fully takes hold, and jean has no choice but to go back, even if it's just to burn it all down. he threatens jack, pistol whips him, has a meltdown about smoke, and then just a general meltdown.
• november 28th | private icc | with lilith.
1. after breaking away from the hysteria in the middle of the town, he finds himself looting a liquor store and happens upon a trail of dead bodies. he gets kind of weird and horny about a dead pig that he considers eating (?) but thankfully (?) lilith (?) interrupts him. high on adrenaline and grief and hysteria, jean isn't able to understand that it's lilith he's attacking. he discovers his demon energy powers, and just how powerful the gun is. it's the second time this month that he's asked to kill someone he cares about for their own good.

summary: i was insanely burnt out from echo. a lot of moping on jean's part anyway.

1. jean heads out to the desert to make a grave for harry, and runs into villanelle, who has just as much grief associated with echo as he does.
• december 13th | private icc | with yi.
1. jean mistakes yi for a lost child then decides while he's here to apologise for being a massive dick in the cluster. he doesn't think he was wrong or anything, just that he was rude about it.
• december 17th | private icc | with lilith.
1. jean tames a demon horse by punching it in the face for no reason. also falls on the anniversary of the plane of shadow expedition, which he was kind of freaking out about.

summary: jean pretends he's not miserable.

1. jean attends the party and tries not to get horny about it (he fails)

1. lilith is also trying to be normal about the violence he invites unto others. he vents to jean, who is in the celadon ridge refugee site while the harrowing mist makes saturn inhospitable.

summary: fighting the harrowing. to be honest i was too busy making a fursuit to rp.

• february 2nd | a lifelong walk to the same exact spot | comms with lilith.
1. jean is extremely normal when lilith goes missing.
• february 8th | with every beat comes a violent noise | thread with camus and venti.
1. sick of the harrowing making him unable to go home, jean breaks his own no-zephyrus rule to fight one of the wraiths. he takes a storm arrow to the entire abdomen and is kind of normal about it.
• february 10th | elgiac | thread with lilith.
1. lilith finally returns home. once jean is off bed rest, he goes to make sure he's actually safe. aside from the missing powers.
• february 15th | wedding anniversary | general event.
1. right after valentines day. surely he'll take this well.
• february 16th | it's a good night for a fistfight | thread with buffy summers.
1. he didn't take it well. jean goes out to the desert to express his grief through violence. he unfortunately comes a little too close to high harbour, and comes face-to-face with a demon slayer. thankfully he's too pathetic to be slain.
